Who I Am
I am Viktoriia Boiko — a Master Esthetician, clinical laser specialist, and educator with more than ten years in the laser aesthetics industry.
From my earliest years of practice, I recognized something most courses in this field still ignore: standard parameter charts do not work on real people. Every client is unique. So I set out to build a system — one grounded in individual assessment and real clinical data, not generic recommendations.
Principal Body of Work
Not a parameter chart. Not a device manual. A system of clinical thinking: how to assess a specific person individually and make decisions from real data.
I developed the PhotoSafe Laser Protocol over ten years of practice. It is not tied to any specific equipment — it works on any laser. Across more than 10,000 procedures, I have had two to three complications. That is not luck. That is a system.
Medical history, hormonal status, treatment history, medications, skin reactions — twelve individual parameters assessed for every client.
Photo type, hair type, density, hormonal factors, vascular reaction, sensitivity, prior laser history, and more.
Three to five test pulses with 48–72 hours of observation — mandatory before the full procedure.
Parameters adjusted in real time based on the observed skin reaction — not from a chart.
All parameters, reactions, and recommendations recorded — an individual chart for every client.

Available on Amazon as both a Kindle e-book and paperback. Written to be clear and useful to anyone — even someone who has never held a laser device. Whoever has wondered whether laser hair removal is safe, what happens to their skin, or why some people get burned while others don't, will find answers here.
20 chapters across 6 sections. Each chapter ends with 10 key takeaways and 3 practical assignments. Appendices include ready-to-use working documents: consultation form, informed consent, parameter chart, post-care protocol, incident report, and safety checklists.
Peer-Reviewed — Published
Two peer-reviewed articles in international journals, written with a complete academic apparatus — because I wanted my contribution documented at an academic level.
A formal scientific description of the methodology — clinical data, comparative tables, and outcome analysis. The claimed novelty: the first systematized, tissue-response-based methodology for laser hair removal parameter selection in the published literature.

A systematic literature review drawing on 20 peer-reviewed sources, including randomized clinical trials and meta-analyses. Demonstrates why the standard Fitzpatrick-scale approach is insufficient and what needs to change.

Education
An international online school for laser specialists. In-person teaching began before 2020; the online format launched in 2021, now on the Getcourse platform.
The flagship program — Laser Skill 8.0 — teaches the PhotoSafe methodology itself: not which button to press, but how to think clinically about a specific person. It is the same system I use in my own practice, transferred to specialists who then carry it into their own clinics.

The curriculum — eight modules
The training, step by step
Eight modules and more than 100 video lessons, opened progressively — from fundamentals to advanced technique — so competence is built in order, not in fragments.
Every lesson ends with an assignment; every module ends with a knowledge test. Assignments are reviewed personally, with individual feedback — this is where clinical thinking is actually built.
Live online sessions with me: questions answered directly, and the students' own clinical cases worked through together.
The certificate is not awarded for watching the videos. It is awarded only upon demonstrated readiness to work with real clients.
Support continues past graduation: equipment selection, setting up the business, and acquiring the first clients. Course materials stay open for two further months, and professional advice does not end with the certificate.

Before my academy existed, the path from first laser to an independent practice took three to five years of trial and error — most of it paid for by clients' skin. My graduates walk it in three to six months, with a protocol instead of guesswork.

My Mission
I am building an industry where safety is not an option or a marketing slogan, but a mandatory standard — so that every person, regardless of country or skin color, can undergo a laser procedure with confidence in their safety.
